Cloud stack backlinks hosted on infrastructure people trust

Brand assets hosted on the same infrastructure the world's largest sites run on. Real documents and pages about your business, published properly and indexed.

Why this option

When it's the right call.

A cloud stack is the same idea as a Google stack, published on cloud storage and hosting instead: Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, Firebase. The appeal sold to buyers is that the hosting is on a trusted, high-authority domain. The reality is more modest and more useful: these are places to publish genuine brand documents that get indexed independently of your own site, on infrastructure nobody suspects of being a spam network.

  • You want brand properties that are not all on Google services
  • You publish documents, specifications or guides worth hosting publicly
  • You want a footprint that does not depend on one platform's policies
  • You already have a Google stack and want the coverage widened
Who it's for

A good fit if…

  • Businesses with genuine documentation, specifications or guides to publish
  • Brands wanting indexed properties spread across more than one provider
  • Technical and B2B companies whose buyers read documents before enquiring
  • Agencies building a diversified property set for a client
Probably not, if

Maybe look elsewhere if…

  • If you have no real content to publish, this is an empty exercise and we will say so
  • If your foundational records are still inconsistent, fix those first
  • If you are buying on the promise that the host domain's authority transfers to you, it does not
What you get

What's included.

  • Brand pages and documents written for the properties, not copied from your site
  • Publication across cloud storage and hosting providers, correctly configured
  • Correct content types, clean URLs and crawlable configuration
  • Consistent entity data matching your foundational master record
  • Clear, relevant links back to the right page on your website
  • Indexation verified and reported per asset
Under the hood

How we actually build it.

The detail that separates a page that ranks and converts from one that just exists.

Host authority does not transfer to you

The central claim in how these are sold is that because the file sits on a Microsoft or Amazon domain, it inherits that domain's standing. It does not. Ranking signals do not work at whole-domain level in a way that hands your document the host's reputation, or every free hosting service would be an SEO cheat code.

What the hosting does give you is reliability, speed, and an environment that is not itself flagged. That is worth having. It is not the same as borrowed authority, and we would rather you buy this knowing the difference.

Configuration is where most of these fail

Cloud storage does not serve web pages sensibly by default. Files download instead of rendering, content types are wrong, URLs are ugly and unstable, and directory listings leak. A stack misconfigured in any of these ways will simply never be indexed.

We set content types and cache headers correctly, use static website hosting where the provider offers it, and check that each asset renders as a page rather than prompting a download. This is the unglamorous part that decides whether the work counts.

Publish documents that deserve to exist

The properties that hold up are the ones with a reason to be public: a service specification, a process guide, an area-by-area breakdown, a pricing explainer, a technical FAQ. Content that would be reasonable to send a customer.

If you have none of that, we will tell you the honest thing, which is that you should spend the budget on content for your own site first, where it earns rankings directly rather than second-hand.

Diversification is a real, small benefit

A footprint spread across several independent providers is more durable than one concentrated on a single platform, which can change its policies or de-index a category of content overnight. Spreading properties is genuine risk management.

It is a modest benefit and we present it as one. Diversification is a reason to do this alongside other work, never a reason to do it instead of earning links.

Avoid these

Common mistakes we don't make.

  • Uploading files that download rather than render, so nothing is ever indexed
  • Leaving buckets publicly listable, exposing the whole structure at once
  • Publishing duplicated or spun text that adds nothing a person would read
  • Selling the host domain's authority as though it transfers to the client
  • Building on provider accounts the client cannot access or pay for directly
  • Ignoring the ongoing hosting cost, small as it is, until the assets vanish

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Does hosting on AWS or Azure give my link more authority?

No. That is the claim the market runs on and it does not hold up: a file on a large provider does not inherit that provider's reputation. The genuine benefits are reliable, fast hosting on infrastructure that is not itself flagged, and a footprint spread across independent providers.

Who pays the hosting cost?

It is small, typically a couple of dollars a month for assets this size, and we set the account up in your name so it stays yours. We have taken over enough client stacks that vanished when an agency stopped paying to insist on this.

How is this different from a Google stack?

Different infrastructure, same principle. Google stacks use Google's own document and site services; cloud stacks use storage and hosting from Amazon, Microsoft and Google Cloud. Most clients who want one benefit from both, which is why the middle package covers them together.

Will you write the content?

Yes, and we would rather write it than have you supply something copied from your own site. Duplicated text across properties is the fastest way to make the whole set worthless.

Can these be removed later?

Yes. You hold the accounts, so you can take any asset down at any time. Nothing here is built somewhere you cannot reach.
