Methodology

How we chose and ordered them.

1. Independent reviews (weighted most)

Reviews on Clutch, counting both the rating and the number of reviews. Large firms not on Clutch's Pakistan lists are shown without a rating rather than given one.

2. What they build

The software each company actually delivers, as described on its own site.

3. Named clients and case studies

Whether the company names clients or publishes case studies you can check.

4. A real office in Pakistan

Every company here was checked for its city guide and states a street address on its own website.

What we did not do

We did not hire these companies, review their code, or accept payment from any of them.

Choosing

How to choose a software house in Pakistan.

Hiring from abroad? Agree time zones and contracts

Most of these firms work largely for clients in the US, UK and Gulf. Agree overlapping working hours, a written scope, milestones, IP ownership and which country's law applies.

Match the firm's size to the job

Enterprise integrators and small product studios suit very different projects. Ask for case studies at your scale.

Own the code and accounts

Get source code, cloud accounts and app store listings in your company's name.

Start with paid discovery

A short scoping phase with a written specification and estimate is the best protection against overruns.

Check how payments and invoicing work

Ask which entity you will contract with and how you will be invoiced. Many Pakistani firms have US, UK or UAE entities for foreign clients.

Questions

Common questions, answered.

Why hire a software house in Pakistan?

Pakistan has a large pool of experienced engineers, and many firms here have long track records with clients abroad. Costs are typically lower than in the US or UK, but choose on quality and process, not price alone.

How much does custom software cost?

It depends on scope, team size and duration. Ask for an estimate based on a written specification, and whether it is fixed price or time and materials.

Why is Digiradix shown first?

Digiradix wrote and publishes this guide. To keep the ranking fair, we left ourselves out of it and introduced ourselves in a separate, clearly labelled box instead. We think we are a strong choice too, so judge us by the same criteria we used for everyone else.

Why do some large firms have no rating?

We only show ratings we could read on Clutch's Pakistan pages on the date checked. Firms not listed there are shown without a rating rather than given an estimate.

Fixed price or time and materials?

Fixed price suits a clear, stable scope; time and materials suits products that will change. Many projects use a fixed discovery phase, then monthly sprints.

Can I get my company added or corrected?

Yes. Email us with the change and a source we can check. We review requests within a week and re-verify every company on this page every six months.

Last verified 20 October 2026. Company details change; if something here is out of date, email hello@digiradix.com and we will correct it within a week. More guides are in agency guides.

Not sure what your software project needs?

Tell us the problem you are trying to solve. We will tell you honestly what it would take, and whether we, or someone on this list, is the better fit.
