Methodology

How we chose and ordered them.

1. Independent reviews (weighted most)

Reviews on Clutch, counting both the rating and the number of reviews.

2. How much of the work is apps

The share of mobile development in each company's Clutch profile, and the apps named on its own site.

3. Published apps and case studies

Whether the company names apps or case studies you can check.

4. A real local office

Every company here states an Islamabad or Rawalpindi street address on its own website.

What we did not do

We did not hire these companies, test their apps, or accept payment from any of them.

Choosing

How to choose an app development company in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.

For field and public-sector apps, ask about offline use

Many twin-city apps are used by survey teams, inspectors and field staff. Ask how the app works with no signal and syncs later.

Download their apps

Ask for store links to apps the company built and still maintains.

Publish under your own accounts

Use your organisation's Apple and Google developer accounts.

Budget for upkeep

Ask for a first-year running cost covering servers, admin panels and OS updates.

Plan data protection

If the app collects personal or government data, ask where it is stored and who can access it.

Questions

Common questions, answered.

How much does an app cost in Islamabad?

It depends on features, platforms and the back end. Ask for an estimate against a written list of screens and features.

Why only six companies?

We only list companies that state a twin-city street address on their own website and pass our other checks. Six passed.

Why is Digiradix shown first?

Digiradix wrote and publishes this guide. To keep the ranking fair, we left ourselves out of it and introduced ourselves in a separate, clearly labelled box instead. We think we are a strong choice too, so judge us by the same criteria we used for everyone else.

Native or cross-platform?

Cross-platform suits most business apps; native suits apps that depend on device features, maps performance or heavy graphics.

How long does an app take?

A focused MVP often takes two to four months; larger apps take longer.

Can I get my company added or corrected?

Yes. Email us with the change and a source we can check. We review requests within a week and re-verify every company on this page every six months.

Last verified 20 October 2026. Company details change; if something here is out of date, email hello@digiradix.com and we will correct it within a week. More guides are in agency guides.

Planning an app?

Tell us what it needs to do and who will use it. We will tell you honestly what it would take, and whether we, or someone on this list, is the better fit.
